On arrival, your welcome usually involves a drink, some home baking and, if useful, a chat about the local area.
During your stay, help yourself to complementary teas, coffee and edibles in the large guest lounge.
For your convenience, we have a small selection of wines, beers, single malt whiskies and Shirley's homemade liqueurs available. Alternatively, please feel free to bring your own - especially if you've come via the wineries!!
There is no self-catering in the Lodge, but we can provide an evening meal if you wish at a time that suits you. As much of the produce as possible comes from our garden - please advise us if you have any dietary considerations.
Alternatively you can try out the local cafés or historic pubs that are a few minutes pleasant walk away.
In the morning a full breakfast is served. Timing is flexible, as we know some people are keen to get going and others may prefer a bit of a lie in! Breakfast includes muesli, bread and yoghurt (all homemade) and the BBQ is often used to prepare the cooked option with fresh eggs from our own chickens. The juice is freshly made from a variety of fruit and/or vegetables (home grown where possible).
